At Old Dawg all natural treats you won't find dog biscuits - either natural chews or crunchy biscuits full of inexpensive fillers. Our treats are not made from spent grain, or spent brewer's (insert grain here either rice, barley or another grain after being used in the brewing process). You won't find the dog equivalent of a saltine cracker with peanut butter on it, and for the most part, our treats are grain free.
The Old Dawg Treat co. was founded out of the need to provide our own dog a canine focused healthy treat of the highest quality. For the most part our treats are high quality, single ingredient and gluten free. From sweet potato to beef liver, chicken jerky, to beef lung we have many slow dehyrated treats that are not freeze dried. Our dehydration process retains most of the nutritional value of the original raw ingredient. At present we are weighing the benefits to cost of using a grass fed meat product and expect to soon have a new product available.
